Eric, I”m sorry to bug you (no pun intended) but I’m unable to download ( from Mozilla) your BugMeNot
addon and have it “work” with my computer. I get to downloaded .xpi file OK and it shows up on my list of addons as being loaded and available except that your BugMeNot logo does not appear. I have tried to find BMN on the list which appears upon right-click when I am at a login site, without success. Even after setting options in BMN, no success. Delete and re-download, still no success. I am using FF2 (not 3). Is there a way for me to force or shock BMN to work with me?
Please know that your response with a cure will be

Thanks for working on and updating this extension. Now how about the extremely useful “Alt-text for links.” There’s a 0.4 version available at the Korean firefox add-on site, but to get that to work in Firefox 3 I had to disable the addon update security checking. Maybe it is time for a 0.5 version of Alt-text for Links that is Firefox 3.0 friendly?

I’m having problems with the install in RC3. Here’s the error message:

because: Unexpected installation error
Review the Error Console log for more details.
